Product pages


I revamped 46 pages across Aviva.co.uk covering pensions, investments and savings. To complete this commercially critical project I oversaw an external agency to create a new look and TOV in a very short timescale. This involved working with product managers to present the benefits in an accessible and appealing way while meeting the requirements of legal and financial promotions regulations. The new pages saw Aviva move from 6th to 2nd in Google’s rankings and most importantly, improvements in product sales.

Writing with authority on a wide range of investment subjects, I explained complex financial ideas like ISA and pension rules in a way novice investors could understand, empowering them to make important decisions about their future.

I set up Aviva’s knowledge centres, an SEO optimised resource page designed to educate customers and funnel them to product pages.

I created a range of customer tools, like investment calculators, with the aim of improving understanding. and encouraging customers to invest in Aviva products.
